Gundam. A franchise that has spanned nearly 40 years has been a cultural phenomenon that has spread across Japan and spilled outside of its borders. Soaring in popularity, the last ten years has been a phenomenal boost as the introduction of plamodel fighting, or Build Fighting has become popular among people of all ages. United by their love of Gundam, and the love of battling, these warriors take on challenges, both in and out of the hobby, and for some this is no mere hobby, but a way of life.
Your character lives and breathes in this world, as a member of the populace swept up in the franchise. Perhaps you've been a long time fan, or maybe this is the first time picking up a pair of nippers. Either way, the big, bold world of Gundam Build Fighting is at your disposal!
What Is the Game About?
Fight and Build is a slice of life game with action elements. In it, people live in the setting as members of this world. It is not a Jamjar, but an AU game, and the use of Plavasky Particles animate your tiny robots into battle.
Who Can I Bring Into This Musebox?
Characters across media from games, movies, books, comic books and other media are allowed. Please keep in mind the suitability of this character, as they are living in this world with lives in or around Gunpla. OCs are welcome as well.
What are Gunpla?
Gunpla, short for Gundam Models are built robots that come in all shapes and sizes. They are used for fighting in a tournament, or sold and set in shops. The quality of the Gunpla is attributed to the characters skill at building, or can get someone to help them build it for them. They use this, as well as a GP base to fight with their Gunpla in real time in a combat arena which is so lifelike, it almost is a world of its own.
What is Gundam Battle Nexus Online?
Gundam Battle Nexus Online is a game where you play and pilot your Gunpla that you've painstakingly built in competitions such as races, beach events, and journey into the wider world of Gundam's setting based on the events in Gundam Build Divers. Currently we're set in patch 1.62, a few months before the events of Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise to not worry about the events of Re:Rise just yet and to offer the most flexibility in the setting.
What is the Setting Like?
Gundam Build Divers is half virtual game, half normal school. Your characters can do things in the real world and the virtual Battle Game, although most of the entertainment is also in the virtual game. There's talk that some of the players are also from the esteemed Honjou Academy in Japan...
Do my characters have to go to school/work?
Work and school can be handwaved for the appropriate age, but can be encouraged as a setting area. This is a world without any major going conflict, and certainly no actual giant robot battles of its own. So far...
Is there a Network?
You bet there is! While you do not have to post to a separate page, network posts are used as forums for Build Divers and you may also have an IC inbox for phone conversations.

Are applications needed?
No. No. Nooooooooo.
My Character isn't human! What Do?
Sadly the world of Build Divers has no non-humans, giant robots or anything like that but that's solved with the virtual world of Build Divers! You aren't required to find a human PB but non-human applications will have to have some kind of distinct appearance and form. Remember you are playing an AUed into the Setting Character. If you choose to have a non-human appearance, you will be allowed to have it in the Virtual World which, depending on how the storyline of Re:Rise ends up, might become a real world setting. In short, you may drastically change your IRL appearance to a Virtual one in game.
Is There An Activity Check?
Noooooooooo.
Any Exceptions to Gundam Specific Characters?
None as of this moment! Gundam Build Divers setting doesn't really have an exception for characters from Gundam as they are AUed as well as NPDs. It might come as a surprise that these NPDs have strangely lifelike mannerisms though...
Do I have to pick a preset Gunpla for this?
Nope! You may make your own, but keep in mind your characters skill level and relative experience with model building. A list of mecha from Gundam is here with a good reference to scale and size. Kitbashing, a term for putting together a model with multiple parts is also encouraged, and if your character is good enough you may build the model from scratch.

Remember that nothing that happens in the game affects things with your friends. Be good to each other, and communicate with each other. Please bear in mind that everyone has their own views and respect each other's boundaries.
